Ingredients
- Kadala (black chickpeas) - 1/2 cup
- Yam (chena) - 1/2 cup
- Raw green banana - 1/2 cup
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1 tbsp
- Salt - to taste
- Grated coconut - 3/4 cup
- Cumin seeds - a pinch
- Whole pepper - 5 or 6
For Seasoning

- Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves - 2 sprig
- Coconut pieces - 1/4 cup
- Dried red chilly - 3
Method
- Soak black chickpeas overnight.
- Pressure cook adding enough water, yam and raw banana.
- Mash the yam and raw banana with a spoon.
- Grind the grated coconut, cumin seeds and the whole pepper. Add this paste in the cooked chickpeas.
- Heat coconut oil in a kadai.
